Remote Desktop Bridging Service

Remote desktop services of varying types are a common way for support teams to provide immediate resolutions to problems as they arise and also allow remote and roaming users to work from where ever they may be and at any time.

However, simply redirecting the service port to a server is risky and what if access to more than on machine is needed using different protocols? The firewall becomes "swiss cheese" pretty quickly, reducing the overall effectiveness of the security policy. The integrated iConnect Bridge service is the answer to all of these concerns.

  • Remote access to common resources without the need for VPN services
  • iConnect Bridge - First to market multi-protocol remote access bridging service
    • Support for RDP, RDPv6, VNC and SSH
    • Stablizes remote access connections by improving connection parameters
    • Requires only a single TCP port for all protocols and connections
    • Support for multiple simultaneous connections
    • Single click connection via Quick Connect Switchboard
    • Centrally administered permission management and deployment
    • Provides access to Terminal Servers and PCs via RDP and VNC simultaneously
    • Employs industry standard remote access client software
    • Integrated per-site server name and address restriction rules
  • Integrated SSH server for back-end administration (command-line)
  • Reverse Proxy and Front-end Web Services Facilities at Folder and Site Levels
    • Pre-configured per-folder share configurations for Exchange Server
      • Outlook Web Access
      • Native Exchange Server/Outlook services through RPC over HTTPS
      • Native ActiveSync support over RPC
